[x] Background Information: It all started 2 years ago. Or perhaps not. Perhaps it truly started the summer before that, when Rinoa met a young man named Seifer. It was just a short fling at the time, but the events that came after that changed her life forever. Originally, she was just going to hire the group known as SeeD to help her free a town from occupation by the galbadian military. Instead, she saw the young man she'd had that fling with fall under the control of an evil sorceress, traveled the world with a mercenary group, been kidnapped and controlled by the same sorceress, used, abandoned, used again, put into a coma, and shot into space. Where she was left to die but for the intervention of one determined young man.

Then she was nearly arrested, as her own sorceress powers awakened. Time was nearly pressed into a singularity that would have destroyed all creation, her friends were scattered through space/time, and she had to travel to the end of time to retrieve the same young man who'd saved her, and stop him from succumbing to oblivion himself. All that, in such a short amount of time. But things calmed down once more, as they are wont to do. Rinoa, returning once again to a peacefull life, found that she missed the rush and excitement she'f felt when she was out there in the world, never knowing what was going to happen from one day to the next. It's something she doesn't realize she has in common with many people who've lead the life of a hero. There isn't any going back after that.

Among the reasons she's given herself for her latest jaunt out into the world is that she, being what she is, needs to find someone, somewhere, who can help her learn how to unlock and control her sorceres powers. If she can learn to control them, then she feels she'll be better equipped to defend herself from other sorceress' who may want to use her again. This is in addition to the wanderlust she's feeling, and it didn't help that as she's grown older, the tensions with an aging father having trouble dealing with his "baby girl" being an adult have become ever more pressing. Rinoa loved her father, she just couldn't live with him.

Rinoa's power is (possibly) the strongest out of all the Sorceress' in potential, but beacuse she hasn't had them long and isn't comfortable with them yet, it is unknown whether they manifest to full power or not. Rinoa's own strength lies in primal magic with no known alignment, as shown by the effects of her Angel Wing Limit Break.
However, Rinoa also received the powers of both Adel and Edea, resulting in her also possessing talent in Ice spells and high damage spells.

[x] Personality: Rinoa tries to be a possitive thinker and loves meeting new people and making new friends, however this can be offset by the fact that she loses self confidence easily when comparing herself to people she preceives as "better" at something than she is. The best example of this is when she compares her own self-taught combat skills to those of the professionally trained SeeDs she's befriended. She doesn't push this insecurity onto others though. The only one she holds this standard to is herself. Other than that, she likes to mask her fears behind a cutesy, sometimes flirtatious exterior. When push comes to shove, she will try to put these feelings aside so that she can help her friends in whatever way possible (that doesn't mean it works 100% of the time though.)
